Coming Monday, my first novel!! Yes… so exciting…
I have written since I was little. I recently found a novel I wrote aged 14, a whole 54 pages of handwritten A4!!
I have had about twenty books published in the 2000s, but all have been factual or poetry or short stories. I wrote this novel last year, after I managed to finish a novella which is coming out later this year as part of the Novella Express project by Leamington Books.
So, it’s the first novel of The Whitlock Close Series, so it’s Welcome to Whitlock Close, where you’ll get to meet all the residents of the Close. They are a fab and varied bunch, all ages, al kinds of issues to deal with, just like we all have.
It’s set in the Lincolnshire village of New Barnham (which may just have a few similarities to where I was brought up …) and the story begins in 1981….
